As Christ said to his disciples "go and be fishers of men" so too do we at Christ Community want to spread the Gospel and make disciples for Christ. This mission is a critical part of living out our faith and we encourage our membership to exercise their gifts for this purpose. In addition to opportunities within the congregation, we also partner with numerous organizations to bring charity and the gospel both locally and internationally.

Discipleship and community are both at the very heart of who we are as a congregation. Our view of mission has been influenced by books such as the Celtic Way of Evangelism, Magnify Your Vision for the Small Church, and Life Together.  We believe in small and authentic Christ-centered, community-based expressions of the Church. We are committed to church planting of congregations that are sustainable and active communities of believers.

We firmly believe that each believer has been gifted with abilities for the edification of Christ's Church and the sharing of God's love with the world. This happens both within and outside of the congregation with the encouragement and oversight of the elders.

The congregation is encouraged to give to, share with, pray for, and participate in these ministries as well as any other that does Christ's charity, exemplifies His love, and is faithful to His Gospel.
